Bernie struggling - we decide to have a light day - sleep in - get mobile at around 12:00 - head into the Stephens Square - wander around the church - impressed but pretty much just another cathedral albeit with an impressive overview of the city - the square a neat historical area with impressive buildings adorned with statues that hide away on rooftops sometimes feeling like snipers ready to impose their dastardly ways on the wanderers below.
Vienna is impressive - you do have a sense of culture permeating the place - you do also however encounter the reality of lots of people in the well known tourist haunts.
Bernie is anxious to see some of Klimt's works - we head to the Leopoldo Museum in the museum quarter - impressive.
Home for the nana nap before heading out again for dinner - pick on an Italian place near the Opera House - food was great and so was the wine - we later realize that we made mistake with the tip - how did we know - the waiter was suddenly less friendly than he had been throughout dinner - the cost was really high - we should have asked him the cost of the wine that he was recommending!
Stroll home past the Opera House - join the small crowd enjoying the opera on the large screen in the forecourt.
